There’s been a severe deficit of Sabres and Oilers information on this Sabres/Oilers blog. I find that kind of depressing, that with the regular season and no advancement, everything ends.
I actually haven’t heard much seen much or paid attention much, to hockey since my boys never made it past phase 1.
And there really isn’t much news, especially from Oil HQ. the season ended with MacT’s life as hockey coach in jeopardy, and now, to my deepest regrets, he’s gone. I liked MacT, I thought he was adecent coach, not exactly the best, but not the worst either. He had strong instincts and was…well crazy. Crazy as in tear-out-Harvey’s-tongue or break-podium-microphone crazy, not drive-drunk-and-kill-a-woman crazy, although he did that too.
From buffalo, we just see some highlight reel stuff going on. Every week they hold a lunchtime interview thing with a player or member of the staff, sofar it hasn’t really caught my attention. I wanted to see the Patty Kaleta one, but never actually got there. I’m in school for the times they air, and have real bad memory…sabresdotcom on twitter helps though
There’s a whole business on remembering the Aud. I’m pissed that I never got to see it in it’s glory…or post-glory. I don’t think anyone who reads this blog is aware, but my Great Grampa Henry had some business with the Aud. He lived in Framingham and designed/owned a rink there. I guess because he did it here, he helped build/design the Aud. I have Aud Freon sliding through my veins and it’s awesome.
My bog has gotten progressively less silly, as I try to make a format that’s not just understandable to me. This makes me sad, cause I want it to be silly and cute and weee. I want to have silly and cute readers too. This means I must somehow advertise, or maybe jus talk to other blogsters. Hmmm…comments are nice.
